Alex Strada is an interdisciplinary artist whose research-based projects center on the intersection of history, politics, representation, and language. Her work has been shown internationally including exhibitions and screenings at Anthology Film Archives, New York; Museum of Moving Image, New York; MuseumsQuartier, Vienna; Jewish Museum, New York; Austrian Cultural Forum, New York; National Museum of Iceland, Reykjavik; and Centro Fotográfico Álvarez Bravo, Oaxaca, Mexico. Strada was a fellow in the Art & Law Program; the Institute for Investigative Living at A-Z West in Joshua Tree, California; and she is currently participating in the Socrates Sculpture Park Emerging Artist Fellowship. Strada received a B.A. from Bates College in 2010 and an M.F.A. in Visual Art from Columbia University in 2016.
